An essay is, in general, a literary piece that supply the author’s point of view, but sometimes the exact definition is quite vague, encompassing those of a novel, a newspaper, an essay, a book, and a brief story. Essays are historically always written under a wide variety of styles. They may be written for any use, large or small, private or commercial. The main purpose of an article is typically to convey an opinion, either about current events or on a particular topic.
